I'm greeted by the sound of raindrops,
sitting up I look to my right
the window frames a sky so cloudy and I worry
how to get to school all dry

and then I smile as I remember
that it's a weekend after all
so I lay back down to my pillows, humming, laughing

I couldn't even move a muscle ,
when it's time to go and do my chores
